Over the last 27 years, San Clemente Sunrise Rotary has collected, organized, boxed, and distributed from 400 to over 700 meals annually to deserving families. Each box contained a complete Thanksgiving or Holiday Dinner as a result of the club’s food drives.
The complete dinners are boxed by club members and volunteers and distributed to deserving families through the Marine Corps, Laura’s House, and Family Assistance Ministries (FAM).
Local Supermarkets allow us to collect the needed food items, including frozen turkeys, at their doors during November weekends. Shoppers at the stores generously donate food and cash to buy needed food items.
Our local Volare Hotel opens it’s doors as our collection and distribution point.
