The Rotary Club of San Clemente Sunrise

"Service Above Self"

The Rotary Club of San Clemente Sunrise meets Tuesdays at 7:15 a.m. for breakfast.

HOW DO I JOIN ROTARY?

By reason of the fact that you are reading this, you probably have already met a Rotarian. Candidates are invited to join Rotary. The first step is to attend a meeting, so that you can ask questions not covered here, and meet the members. There is no meal charge at this first meeting, you are our guest. If you wish to return to meet more Rotarians, you will be charged for your meal. If it appears to be a mutually satisfying experience your name would be submitted for membership by a Rotarian sponsor, to the Board of Directors.  Upon review and approval, and with your approval, your name would be proposed for membership. Your name would be circulated, and with no objections, you would be invited to join The Rotary Club of San Clemente Sunrise.

WHAT WOULD BE EXPECTED OF ME AS A ROTARIAN?

You would be expected to Attend a weeklyRotary meeting. Support Club Service Projects.  Learn about Rotary, its history & work.  Share Rotary with family & friends.  Sponsor a new Rotarian.

Rotary’s Four-Way Test, which applies to the things that Rotarians think, say and do:

1. Is it the TRUTH?
2. Is it FAIR to all concerned?
3. Will it build GOODWILL and BETTER FRIENDSHIPS?
4. Will it be BENEFICIAL to all concerned?

WHAT DOES IT COST TO BE A MEMBER OF SAN CLEMENTE SUNRISE ROTARY?

There is a $25 initiation fee, and semi-annual dues are currently $100.  The weekly breakfast cost at the Talega Golf Club is $12.  There are social events and special meetings such as the Christmas Party, where a special menu will raise the cost.  Members agree to be fined a fixed amount annually for recognition of milestones, e.g. birthday, anniversary, etc. Members are encouraged to attend District functions, for which there may be charges, and to support the work of The Rotary Foundation by becoming a Paul Harris Sustaining Member, for an annual contribution of $100.
