The San Clemente Sunrise Rotary Club is very pleased to announce its 2009 Charity Golf Tournament benefitting Laura’s House and Many Other Local Charities. The Tournament will again be held at the Pacific Golf & Country Club on May 18, 2009 and will be a shotgun scramble format. Entry includes an arrival package, golf, lunch, open bar on the course and dinner. Our Golf Tournament is our single biggest fundraiser, and last year, you and other generous supporters helped us raise $32,000.00 towards funding our projects at Laura’s House and the San Clemente Hospital. To help you throughout the day at the PG&CC, we will have member guides of Pacific Golf & Country Club at each hole, food and beverage on the fairways and an excellent dinner after the tournament. For this year’s event, we will again support Laura’s House as our primary recipient, as well as supporting many other local non-profit agencies in our community. Laura’s House has set out to change social beliefs, attitudes and the behaviors that perpetuate domestic violence while creating a safe space in which to empower individuals and families affected by abuse.
