“Unbelievable” is the best way to describe the this past Saturday! On February 7, 2009, about 60 members, friends and family of the San Clemente Sunrise Rotary Club gathered at the San Clemente Community Center as storm clouds swirled, and a heavy rain subsided. Just in time for the First Ever Polio Walk-A-Thon, we were spared the heavy rains that fell even up to an hour before the walk began . . .

Join us February 7, 2009 as we raise money for and awareness of the final push to erradicate the wild Polio Virus . . .

“After 20 years of hard work, Rotary and its partners are on the brink of eradicating this tenacious disease, but a strong push is needed now to root it out once and for all. It is a window of opportunity of historic proportions . . .”
This morning, at the July 8, 2008 regular meeting of the San Clemente Sunrise Rotary Club, we officially kicked-off the work on our 7th Annual Charity Golf Tournament. I want to thank Jim and Michele for putting on a fun filled event. I really thought all the dancers were exceptional, even the Rotarians. I do think Patrick had the best moves out there . . .
Kristi appeared to truly enjoy her last official appearance as our President . . .
