International Service - The Fourth Avenue

Through International Service, Rotary seeks to expand its reach beyond the borders of the City, State or Country in which a particular club lies. San Clemente Sunrise Rotary has reached around the four corners of the earth with projects it has helped fund. These projects include:

• The Jaws of Life for a small town in Argentina
• Personal Floatation Devices for fishermen on Lake Chipala, Mexico
• Ongoing Support for Rancho Sordo Mudo, a school for deaf orphans in Mexico
• Funding of an international dental lab
• Support of Operation Rainbow - a surgical operation operating in central and south-American nations
• Support of clean-water projects in Africa
• Support for refugees in Nepal and Bhutan
• Aid to many South-East Asian nations in response to natural disasters
