The Requirements of Rotary Membership:
Rotary is built upon fellowship and friendship which depends upon being at the meetings. A Rotarian is expected to attend the weekly meetings of his/her club or make up at another club a missed meeting. Make-ups afford a splendid opportunity to make new friends and bring back ideas that can help the home club. Members are expected to participate in service, social and fundraising functions sponsored by the Club. Attendance at Rotary District activities is encouraged when possible.
The Cost of Belonging to The Rotary Club of the San Clemente Sunrise:
The RI initiation fee is $100 and our Club semi-annual dues are $100. Meals cost $12 for members. Periodically we have special events that include spouses/significant others at an additional cost. During the year members are ‘fined’ a predetermined amount, as a way of sharing recognition of their vocation, birthdays, milestones, achievements etc.
Members are encouraged to support The Rotary International Foundation with an annual contribution of $100 (Paul Harris Sustaining Member).
